I think TATA Sky is now in big trouble because in Rajasthan many people left TATA Sky and Switch to other DTH provider or cable wala. Daily 2-3 people come in my office and want to disconnect tata sky.
TATA sky only focus on TATA Sky + and not doing proper marking for TATA Sky normal box. In India 45 to 68% people have normal Income. And they can’t afford TATA Sky +. I think tata sky Need to change their policy and focus more on TATA Sky normal for more connection and Need to change channel prices like DISH TV.

NEW DELHI: Joining the tariff war, India’s largest mobile operator Bharti Airtel on Friday introduced a “pay per second” plan across the country.
In this plan, called Freedom Plan, Airtel customers will be charged one paise per second for all Local and STD calls to Airtel numbers and 1.20 paise per second for local and STD calls to other networks.
Some of the new operators, however, are offering pay per second tariff plan across networks.
The plan will be available initially only to pre-paid subscribers of Airtel, an Airtel statement said.

Today I check tata sky website for price listing they change package price and channels in package page but not change in Cost price its still showing 125 per month min. But right now min cost is 160 Rs per month I think they need to change it.

THE Finance Minister, in today’s budget speech, announced marginal tax benefits for individual tax payers.
He increased the basic exemption limit for male taxpayers and female taxpayers by Rs 10,000 and that of senior citizens by Rs 15,000. Further, he abolished the surcharge of 10% on income over Rs 10 lakh.
