It seems that everyone around him is facing some sort of drama as of late and now Tiger Woods’ doctor is under criminal investigation.
Dr. Tony Galea is being investigated for drug violations in his home country of Canada as well as by US law enforcement officials. Canadian police say they will be filing charges no later than this Friday.
Among the charges he’s facing are possession of illegal drugs, including human growth hormone (hGH) and Actovegin, a drug extracted from calf’s blood that has been banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
Earlier this year, Galea was flown to Woods’ home to treat him with his platelet-rich plasma injection therapy known as “blood spinning.”
