Software giant Microsoft and search engine Yahoo! have been giving the go signal by American and European regulators to form an alliance. The former rivals will form a team in an effort to compete with Google, which is dominating the search engine wars.
The approval ends seven months of anxious waiting for both Microsoft and Yahoo!, which had toyed with the partnership idea as early as 2006. Microsoft even attempted to buy Yahoo! in 2008, but later reconsidered its $ 47.5 billion offer.

A new type of computer virus, a dangerous new ZeuS botnet has reportedly infected almost 75,000 computers in 2,500 organizations around the world, including user accounts of popular social network websites.
“Kneber botnet“, based on a username that linked the infected systems, gathers login credentials to online financial systems, social networking sites and even email systems from infested computers then reports the gathered info back to the “hackers”, said NetWitness.
The discovery of the new virus was dated back in January this year during a routine deployment of the NetWitness advanced monitoring solutions. Further investigation by the Herndon, Virginia-based software security firm revealed “an extensive compromise of commercial and government systems that included 68,000 corporate login credentials, access to email systems, online banking sites, Facebook, Yahoo, Hotmail and other social networking credentials, 2,000 SSL certificate files, and dossier-level data sets on individuals including complete dumps of entire identities from victim machines”.

If your receiving an error stating that Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded, when you run a script on your website or blog, just know that you are not alone. By default, most servers are set to this 30 second execution time limit. In the following simple solution, I will show you how to increase the execution time limit, hopefully allowing you to finally execute your script successfully.
Increasing the maximum execution time of server side scripts can assist in giving a script enough time to run.
max_execution_time = 30
If all goes well, your script should now complete before the timeout.
Enjoy!

New Delhi: According to the Times of India (TOI) reports, India will soon have over 500 million mobile phone users – second largest in the world after China. While only the number of mobile subscribers will touch the 500 million mark, it will be much higher, if we take into account the number of fixed line subscribers.
The overall mobile phone and fixed line connections have gone up to over 550 million in India till date. While 97 percent in urban India have mobile phone subscriptions, just 18 percent people in rural India have the access to mobile phones.
“India was at 488.40 million (wireless) subscribers at the end of October 2009″, said the TOI report. Ironically, only 7.5 million people in India have access to broadband Internet connectivity.

Nokia N97 Mini Features, Specifications & review : We loved the Nokia N97 but it wasn’t perfect. So it was with great enthusiasm we received the Nokia N97 Mini – basically the same as the original but smaller, better looking and with updated software. Really, it’s what the Nokia N97 should have been, although we’re sorry to report that Nokia missed the opportunity to sort out some of the N97’s problems.
The Nokia N97 Mini is, we’re told, 8% smaller than the original N97. It certainly fits nicely into your palm, but it does mean the screen has shrunk from 3.5 inches to a still perfectly acceptable 3.2 inches. What has really suffered is the internal memory, which has been knocked down from 32GB on the N97 to just 8MB on the Mini.
