Talk about getting the short end of the stick. Playgirl rep Daniel Nardicio recently told Life & Style magazine that the fine folks over at this women’s nudie mag offered Jon Gosselin $20,000 to show off his junk. I guess that size does matter for Playgirl since Levi Johnston scored $100,000 for his nude photo shoot. The rep said:

“We discussed it and we’d offer him only $20,000. His star is extinguishing, and he’s not very [well endowed].”

Jon’s offer comes on the heels of his ex-wife not only making disparaging remarks about his penis (including saying “he’s hung like a 9-year-old boy”) , but also tweeting a photo of his sub-par member. Wow, if it didn’t suck to be Jon Gosselin before, it definitely blows now.

She’s no stranger to swanky soirees and last night (December 30) Kim Kardashian was spotted hosting a Pre-New Year’s Eve Party in Las Vegas.

Joined by gal pal Brittny Gastineau, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” babe looked lovely as she posed for the paparazzi outside Eve Nightclub inside City Center.

In related news, it looks like Kim has found a way to make a few extra bucks without really doing any work- she’s promoting products on her Twitter page.

Miss Kardashian reportedly gets up to $10,000 per tweet.  A recent message said, “The Carl’s Jr grilled chicken salads came out yesterday!! I’m on my way to Carl’s Jr for lunch now . . . have you tried them yet?”

Using her celebrity to help a good cause, Stephanie Pratt was spotted helping distribute toys at the Fred Jordan Mission in Downtown Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (December 20).

The “Hills” hottie looked lovely as she showed some love to disadvantaged children, posing with fans and brightening everyone’s day.

At one point, Miss Pratt accidentally gave away her mobile phone in one of the gift bags, though a helpful father of one of the kids brought it back promptly.

Prior to her arrival, Stephanie expressed her excitement over the day ahead on her Twitter page, saying, “Headed downtown for a Christmas party with 10,000 kids.  It’s going to be an amazing day- with a morning so blessed like this!”

Making the most of her holiday season, Mariah Carey was spotted out and about in Aspen, Colorado yesterday afternoon (December 20).

Joined by her handsome husband Nick Cannon, the “Touch My Body” babe was more than happy to strike a few diva poses for the paparazzi as she made her way around town.

And coming up next week, Ms. Carey will be kicking off a North American tour with a very special New Year’s Eve gig at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Mariah will be on the road for eight weeks, hitting nineteen cities with her Angels Advocate tour, and wrapping up in Las Vegas on February 27th.  It’s her first tour in over 3 years.

The entertainment world is still in shock over the passing of Brittany Murphy, and her family released a brief statement to convey their grief.

The “Clueless” actress’ family explained, “The sudden loss of our beloved Brittany is a terrible tragedy.  She was our daughter, our wife, our love and a shining star.  We ask you to respect our privacy at this time.”

As for any funeral arrangements, everything is still pending said an inside source.  Details are expected to be released in the days to come.

Brittany Murphy was rushed from her Los Angeles home to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by paramedics yesterday morning.  She was pronounced dead at age 32.

Amy Winehouse: Enagaged to Remarry Ex-Husband

Despite already going through one trouble-filled marriage, it sounds as if Amy Winehouse is ready for a second wedding with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

The “Rehab” singer’s ex has just confirmed that they are engaged to be married once more, which comes after the twosome divorced back in July of 2009.

Katrina Kaif, who was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai early this week and underwent a surgery, has now been discharged.

Katrina’s official spokesperson confirmed the same but refused to elaborate further on the cause of hospitalization. “She’s been advised complete bed rest for now,” her spokesperson added.

What the young Bollywood star is suffering from is not yet known. The actress had been advised complete bed rest earlier as she was unwell a month ago but yet she was seen making intermittent public appearances at a wedding and the Triumph lingerie show in the past fortnight.

The gorgeous actresses, who has had a string of successful films at the box office this year including New York, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and De Dana Dan, will surely want to get back at her fittest best at the earliest. We at Bollywood Hungama pray for her speedy recovery.

Katharine McPhee: City of Hope Charity Chick

Always up for a charitable outing, Katharine McPhee stepped out for the City of Hope’s “12 Stops of Christmas” at Hollywood and Highland in Hollywood on Wednesday (December 16).

The “American Idol” alum was in quite the cheerful mood, smiling away as she got a haircut from a dressed-up Edward Scissorhands.

Miss McPhee proceeded on to take a seat in a set-up booth, signing autographs and handing out free CD’s to the crowd of assembled fans on-hand.

Meanwhile, Katharine is currently lined up to appear on the Larry King Christmas Special on CNN, which will be taped on December 23rd.

Sarah Palin Treats Family to Hawaiian Vacation

Taking a much-deserved family vacation, Sarah Palin and family enjoyed a morning at the beach in Hawaii on Wednesday.

The former governor of Alaska sported an Army t-shirt with shorts while chatting on her cell phone as she watched her hubby Todd Palin and little Trig play in the water.
